Who we are
Beanstalkedu is an education company building the intelligent foundation for better schools. This website is operated by Beanstalkedu Services Private Limited in India and Buzzapp Technologies Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia (together, “Beanstalkedu”, “we”, “us”).
The entity responsible for your information depends on where you are and which part of our work you engage with.
Scope
This policy covers the Beanstalkedu corporate website and the enquiries you send us through it.
Our brands and platforms — aKadmy, Teeny Beans, IIMTT and Atheneum Global — have their own privacy notices. Those notices govern information processed when you use those products and services.
Information we collect
We do not ask for sensitive personal information through this website, and we ask you not to include it in your message.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and route it to the right team.
- To follow up on partnership, investor, government or school conversations you have started.
- To keep the website secure and understand how it is used, so we can improve it.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We process your information with your consent, to take steps you have asked for, or where we have a legitimate interest that does not override your rights. We do not sell personal information.
Sharing
We share your information only where needed: within the Beanstalkedu education ecosystem so the right brand or platform can respond; with service providers who host, secure or support this website under contract; and where the law requires it.
International transfers
We work across India and Malaysia, so your information may be processed in either country and by service providers elsewhere. When it moves between countries, we take steps to protect it in line with applicable data protection law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
Retention and security
We keep enquiry information for as long as the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may ask to access, correct or delete your information, withdraw consent, or raise a concern about how it is handled. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
To make a request, contact us and choose “Something else”.
Children and school data
This website is intended for adults — educators, school leaders, partners and investors. It is not directed at children.
Learner and staff information processed inside our platforms is handled under the agreements we hold with each school and the privacy notice of the relevant product. Schools retain meaningful control over that information.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to make the website work and, with your consent where required, analytics cookies to understand how it is used. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our work evolves. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
